This year, top leading chefs including Brian Turner CBE and Cyrus Todiwala OBE will make appearances in the Cookery Theatre at the Hotel and Catering Show to demonstrate to visitors to the Show the delights of cooking with local and seasonal produce. Taking place on Tuesday 16 and Wednesday 17 March at the Bournemouth International Centre, the popular Cookery Theatre will be sponsored by Unilever Foodsolutions, makers of KNORR foods, and The Bournemouth and Poole College for the fourth consecutive year.
Following his debut appearance to officially open the Show back in 2004, Brian Turner CBE is set to return to the Show and take centre stage in the Cookery Theatre on 16 March. A successful television personality, appearing regularly on 'Ready Steady Cook', 'This Morning' and 'Saturday Kitchen', Brian is one of Britain's most successful and well-known chefs. He has always been a champion of good British food, recently launching his Great British Grub cook book, and will provide a host of culinary inspiration to visitors to the Show.

Cyrus is chef patron of Café Spice Namasté and received an OBE in the 2010 Queen's New Year's Honours List for his services to the hospitality industry. He will demonstrate his innovative and fresh approach to Indian cuisine.
Other leading chefs adding to the prestigious Theatre line-up include Mark Hix, Chef Proprietor of Hix Oyster & Fish House and Hix Oyster & Chop House, and Mitch Tonks, Chef Proprietor of The Seahorse Restaurant, who will be joining forces for a double act, as well as Giles Thompson, Chef Patron of Chichester-based The Earl of March, Simon Boyle, Chef Founder of Beyond Boyle, Paul Hawkins Chef at Unilever Foodsolutions UK, Adam Byatt, Chef Proprietor of Trinity Restaurant in London and Ian Gibbs Chef Proprietor of The Coventry Arms, Wimborne.

Angela Cox, Director of Faculty of Service Industries at The Bournemouth and Poole College, adds: “As well as sponsoring the Cookery Theatre at the Hotel and Catering Show, students from The College will be assisting the leading chefs in their demonstrations.
