The annual event, in association with the Wessex Salon Culinaire and the Craft Guild of Chefs, will also host the award ceremony for this year’s Wessex Salon Culinaire and feature a charity auction in aid of Hospitality Action.

Steve Groves says: “Winning Masterchef was amazing and I am now concentrating on becoming the best chef I can be. The Hotel and Catering Show dinners have become a highlight on the hospitality industry’s social calendar and cooking for an audience of highly respected chefs, restaurateurs and hoteliers will be a great opportunity.”

Anna Wallis, show director of the Hotel and Catering Show, adds: “The Show Dinner is becoming a bigger and stronger event each year and to have three leading chefs cooking for the 2010 event is a fantastic endorsement.  I’m sure that cooking at the Show Dinner will not be as gruelling as the four days of kitchen challenges Steve faced during Masterchef!”
