Tantalising sponsorship line-up

Organisers of the Hotel and Catering Show, the CEM Group, are proud to announce a sponsorship line-up which includes support from some of the industry’s most recognised and respected brands, as well as leading local organisations. Taking place on Tuesday 10th and Wednesday 11th March 2009, the south coast’s largest hospitality event will continue to receive support from Unilever Foodsolutions, makers of KNORR foods, Coastline Produce and The Bournemouth and Poole College, as well securing new sponsorship from leading food and beverage company, NestlĂ© Professional® CHEF®.

Continuing to maintain their long-standing relationship with the annual two-day Show, Unilever Foodsolutions, the team at KNORR and The Bournemouth and Poole College will be sponsoring the popular Cookery Theatre at the exhibition, which will witness exciting demonstrations from some of the UK’s leading chefs. Students from The College will also assist renowned chefs including Cyrus Todiwala, Ed Baines and Giles Thompson with their inspirational live demonstrations, which will use and showcase products sourced locally from Dorset.

As well as sponsoring the Cookery Theatre at the Hotel and Catering Show, The Bournemouth and Poole College will also provide its support to the Wessex Salon Culinaire, along with sponsors Coastline Produce, which distributes fresh food throughout the south of England, and industry leader, NestlĂ© Professional® CHEF®. Forming a key part of the Show, the Wessex Salon Culinaire, will be the UK’s largest live culinary competition in 2009 and will witness aspiring chefs compete in a series of challenges. The Wessex Salon Culinaire will also be sub-sponsored by Brend Hotels and trade magazine the Caterer, Licensee and Hotelier News Group.

Business Link Wessex, which provides a free service advising and supporting local businesses, will also work in association with the Show to host a series of ‘sound bite sessions’, which will provide a range of advice from ‘profiting in competitive times’ to ‘how to close the deal’.

Angela Cox, Director of Academy of Service Industries at The Bournemouth and Poole College, says: “We have enjoyed a long-standing relationship with the Hotel and Catering Show, as both a key exhibitor and sponsor. As a leading provider of training for the hospitality and catering sector, the Show offers us increased exposure to industry professionals. It also provides an excellent opportunity for our students to work with specialists and meet with a breadth of visitors from the hospitality sector.”

Claire Sullivan, marketing director Unilever Foodsolutions, adds: “KNORR is firmly associated with culinary excellence and it is only fitting for us to be sponsoring the Cookery Theatre at the Show. The exhibition reflects the best up and coming talent closely alongside the expert skills of some of the UK’s leading chefs and this is why we are once again proud to be associated with the Show.”
